A man has died after being found with stab wounds inside a car in Ladywell, south east London.

Metropolitan Police officers were called to Malyons Road just before 2pm on Wednesday and discovered the man, aged 29, in a vehicle.

The London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended but the man died at the scene in the borough of Lewisham.

“His next of kin have been informed and will be supported by specially trained family liaison officers,” the Met said in a statement.

Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command have been informed and enquiries to establish the circumstances are ongoing.

A post-mortem examination will take place in due course. There have been no arrests.
