A prince’s spokesperson said that paparazzi put Prince Harry, Meghan and her mother in a perilous car chase on Wednesday.
They had just come from an awards ceremony in New York, where the Ms. Foundation for Women recognized Meghan for her work.
The spokesperson said that last night, Harry, Meghan and her mother, Doria Ragland, faced a dangerous car chase by a group of very aggressive paparazzi for over two hours.
The car chase almost led to collisions with other cars, people and two NYPD officers. Photos on social media showed them in a cab.
Harry and Meghan left their royal roles in 2020 and moved to the US partly because they felt harassed by the media.
He has long been angry at press intrusion, which he thinks killed his mother Princess Diana. As paparazzi chased her limousine in Paris, it crashed and she died.
