Ludacris, the Grammy-winning rapper and actor, has been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The ceremony took place on Thursday, May 18, 2023, in front of the W Hollywood Hotel on Hollywood Boulevard. Ludacris was joined by his family, friends, and fellow celebrities, including Tyrese Gibson, Vin Diesel, and Gabrielle Union.

Ludacris, whose real name is Christopher Bridges, expressed his gratitude and humility in his speech. He said he was “beyond proud” to be recognized by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and to join the ranks of legendary entertainers. He also thanked his fans for their support and his mentors for their guidance. He dedicated his star to his late father, Wayne Bridges, who passed away in 2007.

Ludacris is best known for his music career, which spans over two decades and includes nine studio albums and four Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles. He has also ventured into acting, starring in several films and TV shows, most notably the Fast and Furious franchise. He is also a philanthropist and entrepreneur, founding The Ludacris Foundation in 2001 and launching his own cognac brand in 2018.
