MARYLAND: A group of two adults and three teens assaulted Christopher Michael Wright, 43, at his home on May 19 around 5 p.m. They wanted to talk to his fiancée’s son, who had a fight with another teen at Brooklyn Park Middle School.
Wright refused to let them see the boy and said he would not allow them to fight. His fiancée, Tracy Karopchinsky, told 11 News that the group then threatened to fight with Wright instead.
Anne Arundel County Police and fire department personnel arrived at the scene shortly after 5 p.m. and found Wright with life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a local trauma center for treatment.
Wright died at the hospital around 9:45 p.m. Saturday from a traumatic brain injury, according to 11 News.
Police are investigating the incident as a homicide and are looking for three to four White males in their 20s or 30s who are the suspects.
Anne Arundel County Police said they have not made any arrests or updates in the case as of Wednesday, May 24.
