The world of music is mourning the loss of Tina Turner, who died at 83 after a long illness.
The legendary singer, known as the “Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll”, had a remarkable career that spanned six decades and influenced generations of artists.
She rose to fame in the 1960s with her husband Ike Turner, but later reinvented herself as a solo superstar in the 1980s with hits like “What’s Love Got to Do with It” and “The Best”.
She also battled health issues, including cancer, high blood pressure and a kidney transplant, with courage and grace.
She died peacefully at her home in Switzerland, surrounded by her loved ones.
