A Chinese naval vessel is heading to the Philippines for a “goodwill” visit. This is the second visit of the Chinese Navy to the Philippines this year, demonstrating the cooperation and mutual trust between the two countries.
According to reports, the ship is a guided missile frigate equipped with advanced weapons and radar systems.
It will stay in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, for three days, during which joint exercises and cultural exchange activities will be held.
A Chinese navy spokesman said the visit aims to strengthen friendship and professional exchanges between the navies of the two countries and contribute to maintaining regional peace and stability.
