A 27-year-old woman from Kalamazoo was arrested on Friday night after allegedly following and shooting at another vehicle on I-94 for more than 100 miles.
According to Michigan State Police, the victim called 911 around 11:05 p.m. and reported that the woman had been pursuing them since Kalamazoo and had fired shots at them.
The 911 dispatcher heard what appeared to be gunshots during the call. The victim was instructed to drive to the nearest police station while being chased by the suspect.
The suspect was eventually stopped by Taylor Police on Telegraph Road and taken into custody. A firearm was recovered from her vehicle.
The victim’s vehicle had a bullet hole near the rear bumper, but no one was injured. The motive for the shooting is still under investigation.
