OKLAHOMA CITY : An overnight shooting at the Aloha Backyard resulted in the death of 31-year-old Justin Smith and the arrest of a murder suspect.

Officers arrived at the scene around 3:30 a.m. Monday and discovered Smith’s body.

The suspect’s name and motive have not been released by the police.

According to a police statement, Thomas, 21, shot Smith after a verbal altercation between them.

Thomas stayed at the scene and was taken into custody on suspicion of first-degree murder.
