Kevin Costner has accused his estranged wife Christine Baumgartner of spending $95,000 of his money without his consent amid their ongoing divorce. The actor claims that Baumgartner withdrew the large sum from their joint bank account on June 1, 2023, without giving him any prior notice or explanation. Costner says he only learned about the transaction when he received a bank statement.

Costner alleges that Baumgartner’s spending spree violates their prenuptial agreement, which states that they should maintain separate finances and assets during their marriage and divorce. He also says that Baumgartner has refused to move out of their shared home in Santa Barbara, California, despite the prenup giving her 30 days to do so after filing for divorce on May 1, 2023.

Baumgartner has not commented on Costner’s allegations, but sources close to her have told various media outlets that she is unhappy with Costner’s busy work schedule and lack of family time. The couple has been married for 18 years and has three children together: Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 12. Costner also has four children from his previous marriage to Cindy Silva.
