A woman survived a fall from the 10th deck of a Royal Caribbean cruise ship into the Caribbean Sea on Sunday. The ship was about 27 nautical miles south of Punta Cana when she fell.

A 42-year-old US woman fell from the 10th deck of a Royal Caribbean cruise ship into the Caribbean Sea on Sunday. She survived thanks to a dramatic rescue operation by the ship’s crew.

They used a small boat to find and bring her back on board. The passengers filmed the incident and cheered for the woman and the crew. They also helped the crew locate the woman with binoculars.

“I thought someone just died,” said Matthew Kuhn, a passenger who tweeted the live updates.

“Everyone was trying to help, and the crew was very receptive to everyone.”

The woman was not hurt and did not need any medical help. She was taken to the hospital later for a normal check-up.
