A member of the Oklahoma County Jail Trust and a group of clergy members are pushing the motion and calling on the CEO of the jail to resign.

On Monday, the trust will discuss and possibly take action on jail CEO Greg Williams.

Pastor Derrick Scobey, with Ebenezer Baptist Church, who is a jail trust member, said he agrees with the move because he’s more than a trust member but also a concerned citizen.

“This is not a trivial or insignificant matter when people are dying, when people are getting raped, assaulted,” Scobey said. “We have a losing record going on down there. We have had 14 deaths this year.” according to a report from KOCO 5.
